Week of June 14 - June 16, 2025

  • Father Daniel Chavarria will be the celebrant for the Masses on June 14 - 16
  • Father Haenny is currently on vacation and returns on Tuesday, June 23. Father Chavarria is a teacher at La Salette Academy and was ordained in 2012.
  • Friday, June 13 - Ember Friday of Pentecost - No Mass - Please keep in mind that today is a traditional day of Fast and Abstinence.
  • Saturday, June 14 - Ember Saturday of Pentecost - 1st Class - Confessions 5:15 PM. Mass at 6:00 PM. This is a traditional day of Fast & Partial Abstinence.
  • Sunday, June 15 - Trinity Sunday - 1st Class - Confessions 8:15 AM - High Mass at 9:00 AM. Benediction with Holy Face devotion and Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart after Mass.
  • Monday, June 16 - Ferial Day - 4th Class - Mass at 6:00 AM or 6:30 AM. TBA
  • The second Collection this Sunday - is for the Corpus Christi building fund.
  • Easter Duty - All the faithful who have reached the use of reason are gravely obliged to receive Holy Communion worthily at least once during the Easter season, which is from the first Sunday of Lent to Trinity Sunday (the Sunday after Pentecost).
  • Feast of Corpus Christi - will be celebrated on Sunday, June 22. There will be High Mass followed by a procession of the Blessed Sacrament, Benediction and a parish potluck. Start planning your favorite main and side dish.
  • Blessing of Religious articles - Please place articles to be blessed on the right side of the old altar downstairs. Once they have been blessed they will be moved to the left side of the altar. The items may be picked up later in the morning or the following week.
  • Corpus Christi Bookstore is Open every Sunday 15 minutes after Mass next door in the priory. Please drop in and find the perfect book, statue or rosary.
  • Confirmation in Post Falls - The scheduled date is September 7. With only two bishops in the Society it is unlikely there will be Confirmations at Corpus Christi for the near future. Those children and adults needing Confirmation this year should pick up a registration form and email or speak with Father Haenny as soon as possible.
  • Banns of Marriage - 2nd Banns of Marriage are announced for Mr. Evan Roesler of Gladstone, OR. and Miss Erin Hardwick of Post Falls, ID, a parishioner of Corpus Christi Chapel from 1993 to 2021. They intend to receive the Sacrament of Matrimony at Immaculate Conception Church in Post Falls on October 17, 2025. If anyone knows of any impediments or has just cause against this marriage taking place, they are required under grave canonical penalty to declare it to the pastor as soon as possible.
  • "It is a holy and wholesome thing to pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from their sins." (II Macab. XII.46). Let us daily remember the souls of the faithful departed from Corpus Christi Chapel for the month of May:
